Joy Rudenberg, MA
Therapist

Joy is passionate about seeing people heal from trauma. Joy offers in-person and telehealth options, focusing on young women’s issues, trauma and chronic stress, adoption issues, anxiety, depression, identity, self-esteem, sleep difficulties, life transitions, and attachment and relational issues. Her therapeutic approach is from a trauma-informed and attachment-based lens, incorporating Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and Solution Focused Brief Interventions. Joy can help you create goals for healthy routines and habits to rewire the nervous system to learn new skills and behaviors that will aid in the healing journey. Joy will work with you to build capacity for regulation, connection, and a sense of feeling safe in your body.

Joy is a Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) Practitioner and provides education to parents and caregivers, giving strategies on how to connect with, empower, and correct children. She also provides ART therapy to parents who are experiencing parental stress and are wanting to resolve their own traumas.

Joy is not seeing children for play therapy at this time, but is seeing adults for short term therapy and ART.

Joy has been at Heart to Heart since May 2021, and graduated with a Master of Arts from Bethel University in May 2022.
